This is probably the last of the SdKfz 250/251 Expansion Sets... the SdKfz 250/9 Alte!
We will be wrapping up these projects, with the exception of finishing up the accompanying crews.
We will then queue them up for mould making... finally!!

A general question, was the cannon on a pedestal used as a fixed flak emplacement?

Yes, it was, but not in this configuration.  Pedestal-mounted 20mm Flak guns mostly appeared on ships and U-boats.

The SdKfz 250/9 looks wonderful.  I think it's great that it includes a complete gun mount.

This would have been worth a new thread. 

This looks like another winner.  And the interior detail sets a new standard.  I've raised this point before (in the context of the SdKfz 251 Ausf D), but the MG42 was standard issue by the time the Neu version was in production, so it really only needs to include the MG42s.

We will only have the MG42 on the 250 Neu.  Just didn't bother to print another MG42 for the prototype.

Here is the preliminary design of the 280032 SdKfz 250/1 Alte / SdKfz 253 decal sheet.

This is a brand new decal sheet with a new set of licence plate numbers. 
Included is a special decal set for Rommel's command vehicle "GREIF", plus some tactical symbols.

Still not so happy with this layout, might remove one row of licence plates and replace it with pre-made vehicle numbers.

This is the revised decal sheet design.  As mentioned earlier, we have replaced a row of licence plates
and rearrange them to include some pre-made vehicle numbers.  This should cover more gamer's need
and ease of putting the SdKfz 250 into action!

We probably will not as GREIF is more iconic than the other two.

It is extremely difficult to get the decal geometry correct as it rests on three different surface on the model.
Furthermore, these lettering take up a lot of sheet space as you can see on the sample.
