The base kit SdKfz 250/253 Alte is due to release by Q2/16.  The various expansion kits are still under QC review.

DO YOU KNOW... It took us two weeks and over 50 man hours to create just this pair of armoured mesh covers (plus the underside) for the SdKfz 250/9?

Almost every square had to be adjusted manually to make sure the mould-release angle is correct during the production phase.

This is the actual 3D printed prototype from the 3D drawing shown above!  We are very pleased with the outcome.
Now will have to see if our mould maker can duplicate the results!

Very true indeed!  Considering the size of the two pieces, it took us several concept designs to get it right.

More 3D prototypes ready for the SdKfz 250 project...

SdKfz 250/3 - will include a radio operation, and possibly Erwin in the sprue!



SdKfz 250/10 - will included both guns in our new SdKfz 251/7 & SdKfz 250/10 combo sprue.  Figures included.





SdKfz 250/11 - The sPzB 41 with crew will feature on both the SdKfz 250/11 and SdKfz 251/7, together with an off-loaded version... with crew as well!

Fantastic stuff!  I especially like the jerrycan stowage rack, and the spzb 41 (you've even done specific ammo containers for it!).  And you seem to have made the bedstead aerial slightly overscale, so it's less likely to snap.

Is this all likely to be on one sprue?

People (hmm...) will eventually complain!  So why not take the initiative, spent some extra time, and do it right the first time?

Very few of the SDFZ 250/8 Alte were made the /8 was mainly a Neu variant.
