A Pz I , a Pz II or a Universal Carrier as Maultiers were built on all three tracked chassis

I don't think they actually built them on the chassis of those vehicles; they used the Horstmann suspension, so it looked the same, or (in the case of the Type L4500R) the Panzer II suspension.

An expansion project for our ever popular Opel Blitz truck - a multi-function Fiberboard Body!

This is a standard box design used by the Wehrmacht during WW2 on all trucks. Made of fiberboard,
it can be used as radio communication, repair workshop, ambulance, kitchen, command post...
anything you can think of!

Enjoy!

Very nice.

When you do an Early British lorry you might think about something similar with a civilian set of decals.

Nice idea.  I think the body had a wooden frame, with fibreboard attached to it.

Indeed.  It is a mix of both material.  The box frame design is universal for all trucks used by the Wehrmacht.
Some had field modifications to tailor for individual needs.  Basically a multi-purpose design.

People who frequent this forum always get our latest news update first!  ;)

Our design philosophy had always been highly detailed and easy to assemble & paint... plus EXPANDABLE!

We have proven ourselves with the SdKfz 251 and SdKfz 250 series of half track vehicles.
Now is the turn for our Opel Blitz truck!

The BASIC truck - when we first designed the Blitz, we already have plans for several expansions!

The BOX trunk - this is going to be our first add-on to include a box trunk replacing the standard trunk.

The MAULTIER - then we are rolling out the tracked version of the Blitz...

The BOXED Maultier - then again merging the two into a new breed!

Easily Explained by an Expansion Tree - what else is there?  ::)

Enjoy!

We are going to do a British truck soon... just give us some time to warp up some open projects.

As mentioned before, we only have that much resources to work on so many projects.
Even if we wanted to expand our studio, we are limited by hiring the right designers; plus
limited physical space within our studio.

We are looking to relocate to a larger premises, but moving our machinery is a daunting task!
We will see...

Maybe some sort of rear mounted flak gun?

Some versions of the fibreboard body style didn't have the windows on the roof . If you make the kit so you have to drill out four small holes to mount it , or just  leave a smooth roof , you can add another version to your Blitz truck . Nice job on adding the storage lockers in the rear wheel wells on the Maultier fibreboard truck. Some 1/35 companies have missed that on their  models

Yes, indeed!  The roof windows are optional!  We ALWAYS give you choices!

Had not do any update on the expansion project since mid-April because of the Q2/16 new releases.
Not that the new releases are behind us, here is a quick update:
