soviet ZU-23-2

The ZU-23-2 was developed in the late 1950s. It was designed to engage low-flying targets at a range of 2.5 km as well as armoured vehicles at a range of two kilometres and for direct defence of troops and strategic locations against air assault usually conducted by helicopters and low-flying airplanes. The ZU-23-2 (2A13) mounts two 23 mm autocannons on a small trailer which can be converted into a stationary mount for firing the guns. While in this position the wheels are moved aside.

From 1965 onwards, the Soviet Union began supplying the Democratic Republic of Vietnam with large shipments of weapons
In the Soviet Union, some 140,000 units were produced.

iam loving the way you are thinking the zu-23 along with the 14.5mm zpu-1, zpu-2 and zpu-4 would be great additions for nva ,viet cong etc  and for any mideast types. Just not sure if they fit in with any of rubicons plans or ideas, and as a modeller would certainly grab a bunch.
On subject of aa guns a russian 37mm m1938 61 k was used from ww2 right up to present day and this does fit with the bofors types being developed

yes Somtec I try to suggest RM to go further in their attempt to explore an other area then WWII. I am convinced there are a lot of gamers who will enjoy any new plastic kit of the cold war area. When you think of the success in 15mm of games like team yankee Rubicon should not bypass this type of customers but in 28mm.
