Both looking great . Question - there is a " something ? " on the driver's side spare wheel on the 70 . It is not on the right spare or on the spares mounted on the 69 . I haven't seen this feature in the photos I looked at on google . What is it ? It's driving me crazy

I agree, minimum 2 are needed.
As for the mystery piece it looks to be on the sprue. Left side middle.

Awesome . Question , anyone know what the side board carried on both sides of the rear box is for ? I've seen it on various early war German trucks but have no idea what it's for . Looks to be about the width of the box , maybe for extra seating ?

Too short . Plus there seems to be a pair across the rear seat backs in the 69 version . Hmm , maybe soft ground boards , sort of like the LRDG's sand channels ?
