Q2/16 New Releases
« on: April 22, 2016, 04:01:15 pm »
Most of our artwork masters had been sent to the printer for colour proofing; only the box packaging is not finished.
Our Q2/16 new releases is one step closer to set an official release date! Stay tuned!

Enjoy!

This is the first of the cover art for "280031  SdKfz 251/1 Ausf C", originally from our Facebook page!

Enjoy!

Great looking cover art .

Agreed - I really like this one.

Meanwhile, it appears from the Salute 2016 coverage that Warlord have a plastic M3 Stuart at an advanced stage (there's a photo of a completed prototype), as well as a plastic SdKfz 251/9 (it seems to be the Ausf D,  with additional parts to make other versions; these must be close to release as the photos are of painted examples), and their plastic Churchill seems to be underway (there's a photo of the turret, but it looks like it's resin).  Their plastic Sherman Vc Firefly is done as well (there's a photo of the assembled kit).

It's very evocative, and I've always like the sand over dark grey pattern as depicted on the SdKfz 253 (there's even a photo of one in that scheme).  There's no MG shield on the SdKfz 250, but they weren't always fitted, so that's fine.  One query about the figures though - are they meant to be wearing camo?  If so, that makes them SS, while the half-track itself isn't an SS vehicle.

There's always going to be some problems with box art Pinky . Either color schemes , vehicle markings , or on figure kits , pictured weapons  on the cover , not in the box  ( Miniart is getting flak over their latest release at the moment ) On the 251 box , both bi pods were left off the mg 34s . The front gun sometimes never had one as it rarely was removed , while the rear gun was taken by the troops when disembarking from the vehicle, and so should have one . A slight over sight on the cover , that in no way distracts from the kit . Their 251 D kit doesn't have bi pods , nor does the Stug III kit . Again . not a deal breaker IMO ( I made my own  ::) )

Relating to Ripley's comment, I did notice the open view ports of the vehicles in the pictures which I assume are not a feature of the kits. Not a problem for me ^___^.
