Even though not for immediate use with our standard upcoming SdKfz 250/1 Alte release,
we have included the GREIF decal set for later application.

Here is the result of a physical test for accuracy...  pretty impressive with the results!

A solid coat of gloss varnish, and follow our guide (will release with product later) to prepare
the decal, dip in warm water, slide the decal into position, and bingo, done!

That looks real good .    If Rommel can't have his men get the decals even on each side of his ride , there's no reason why I should have to . . Always wondered why the marking were offset like that and only one side painted red . Any one know or hazard a guess ?

The guy painting the GREIF markings might ran out of red paint... lol.

I always wondered this as well.  It does look kind of unfinished.

From photos it looks like the red G should be lined up with the hull joint , not the R . Mind you , I've also found  pictures of the left side with no red paint . I wonder if it was repainted a few times  or if Rommel used other 250s and had them painted  at time of use . Should check to see if the  licence plate is the same on all vehicles .  Also was Adler painted red on both sides ? I've only found ( so far ) just left side pictures .

We are aware of the line up error, and should be perfectly okay with that position.
Since we only have a few "test" decals, we can't redo it before the "commercial
run" arrives.

From references, Rommel actually had at least 3 SdKfz 250/3, each with a different
licence plate number.  Not sure if his other 250s, the "Adler" or "Igel" are red on
both sides.

The SdKfz 250 Alte was released in Q2/16 already.  If you are talking about the SdKfz 250 Neu, we are working towards a Q4/16 release if possible.

That had to be one of the most cruel tricks of fate. For some one so loved by his troops, to be betrayed by his own Fuhrer, when innocent of any charges. Many things in Germany may have gone down a better road had he lived.

Rommel wasn't entirely innocent - he was at least toying with opposition to Hitler.  By 1944 he was deeply pessimistic about where it was all going - he knew they were going to lose, and badly.  It's also worth remembering that his career benefitted a great deal from his attachment to Hitler and the Nazi party, and from its propaganda machine.  It's facilitating that we are still to some extent influenced by the cult of personality that WW2 propaganda built around individuals like Rommel.
