Monday always gives surprises - sometimes good news, sometimes bad.
This one definitely get us excited at the studio...

Not having any update on this project for almost two months!

Enjoy!

It's very exciting to see the sprues for this.

Please ensure that the jerrycans are the same as your existing ones, as you've been really good at keeping these consistent so far.

BTW - it's probably better to describe it as "open body and enclosed body".

Excellent.

I would echo Pinky's comment about the names (a trunk being a piece of luggage or of an elephant ^__^).

I assume that is a photo effect, but the racked jerry cans (E12 and 13) look slightly dimpled in the middle.

This is our first test sprue for the Opel Maultier.

There are still minor changes and fixes, but is a big step towards its release.
Basically this new sprue is an expansion to our existing Opel Blitz (280026)
kit. All features are compatible with new ones added to the product!

Enjoy!

With this single plastic sprue, you can build yourself a multi-function Fiberboard
Box Body for either our current Opel Blitz or the upcoming Maultier truck!

This is a standard box design used by the Wehrmacht during WW2 on all trucks.
Made of fiberboard, it can be used as radio communication, repair workshop,
ambulance, kitchen, command post... anything you can think of!

Enjoy!

Excellent. I can see the Antarctic expedition requiring a few of these.

Depending on the price, the expansion box may work as a site office/guard post on its own.

It looks as though for the Opel Blitz version of the enclosed body you need to remove the section for the wheel arches from the sides of the body.  It'd be worth pointing this out, as the unmodified body otherwise sits too close to the rear wheels.

I see the doors can also be cut out from inside.  Nice touch.

There are two possible variants of the Opel Blitz Box Body assembly - without or with the rear wheel fender.  You do need to trim off the oval shape area (not so on the current test kit) as with the real vehicle.

Yes, the doors can be cut open with extra care if needed.
