Deutsches Afrikakorps SdKfz 6/3 “Diana” kit bash using Rubicon products

I really wanted a SdKfz 6/3 “Diana” vehicle for my Deutsches Afrikakorps army but nobody makes a 28mm scale model.

So I “kit bashed” the following four products I bought from the Rubicon Models USA web site:
   * 88mm FlaK 36/37 DAK Gun Crew
   * SdKfz 7 Halftrack
   * SdKfz 305/3a Expansion Set - Box Body (Einheitskoffer)
   * Heer46 8.8cm Pak 43

I just completed the build and here is how it turned out:

Didn't the 'Diana' use a captured Russian 76mm gun?

Yes H0ffman it did , and it was based on the SdKfz 6 not 7 , but I think victornemo did a great job kit bashing a pretty good version from things he could find easily . Not all the right parts are available in plastic or resin , so sometimes you have to "fudge " it a little . I think it looks great.

Yes H0ffman is right and ripley is right as well. I wanted to showcase what I could do with products purchased from the Rubicon USA website only. It may not be 100% historically accurate but I'm looking forward to it supporting my DAK in my next Bolt Action battle (if we ever get out of this freakin' quarantine!)
