Dingo/Lynx Multi-kit
« on: December 10, 2014, 02:30:15 am »
A Daimler-Dingo/Ford-Lynx multi-kit should be a popular enough kit to be worthy of consideration.

The Lynx is as ubiquitous in the Canadian army as the Daimler throughout the rest of Commonwealth.  I'll likely be kitbashing one this winter, but will happily buy a trio from the first manufacturer to make a bespoke kit!

The most notable differences are the Lynx has a higher suspension system than than the Dingo, and a longer rear engine deck.  For a multi-kit, an option to jack up the suspension and swap in a different rear should do the trick.

Best photos I've found so far of the deck are from the Milicast 1/76 model (though their suspension seems a bit low):

Neither do I  :P
But I'll grit my teeth and do one kitbash to tide me over until somebody makes an actual kit!
