Our Reference Book Collection!
« on: October 30, 2016, 02:22:13 am »
It is always a delight to receive courier packages from your favorite online bookstore!
Think these readings will last until Christmas!  This is only about one-tenth of our
current library collection...

NOTE: Please don't interpret that we are doing all these topics, many of these are
reference material for future use, and some are for other OEM projects
that we are doing for other clients.

Enjoy the read and feel the passion, just knowing some will be transferred to models is enough.

Many of those are "used" books that had been out of circulation... the book itself is not expensive, but the freight charges are multiple times the book value!  :-[

Great selection of books - maybe you won't need to rely so much on Wikipedia!

I have some of the Tanks in Detail series - they are quite good.  Squadron / Signal aren't bad either.  I could happily spend days flipping through these!

Wikipedia is great for IP related contents.  Don't want getting into that mess, lol.

Wikipedia is a "knowledgeable" friend, great for quick information, research still takes time.

Saying that I have some very dud books.

Here are most of mine (I've run out of space):

I have too many Osprey titles - they're good, but not always the best.  The Tankograd books are great references.  I want some more of them.

Example of a Tankograd title - this one is on the M5A1.  Note the detail devoted to just the wading trunk...

The Tankograd books are good (I have the Studebaker one for when I get round to building the kits).

I was thinking of getting that one - and the Opel Blitz title.
