Our first resin project for 2019, M1A1 bulldozer for all M4 Sherman variants with either HVSS or VVSS suspension.

That'll look fun on a 105mm or Crocodile.

The USA did  add dozer blades to their 105 tanks  , usually attached to the HQ platoon . No dozer blades  on the Croc I'm afraid . Cullen hedge row cutters , you bet .( and only one Cullen seen on Cromwells , a test unit in UK , don't be fooled by all the kits that give you that option )



While the Churchill could go pretty near anywhere , over hill and mountain , and had no problem crashing through the Normandy hedge rows , the Croc trailer would get hung up , twist at the linkage and break . So they added Cullen cutters to force the rubble out of the way , problem solved

I was referring more to the sherman crocodile. Or whatever they called the flamer variant of it.

The US Sherman with the Brit Croc trailer ? IRC they only sent 4 to Europe late in the war as test vehicles , although I think they got 50 or so trailers for conversions .  The Sherman Tank site states the M4A1 Dozer kit weights in at 7000 pounds , which makes the Sherman nose heavy  to start with , adding a 13000 pound Croc  trailer to the tank is really not going to make it a easy vehicle to drive around a road never mind taking it cross country

This is our painted sample of the M1A1 Bulldozer resin conversion kit for all M4 Sherman variants. The kit will come with required parts to attach to either a VVSS or HVSS suspension.

Our bulldozer kit is based on technical manual (TM9-719) and original blueprints from the US Department of the Army to ensure our design is accurate.

I have to ask, what "powers" the (what appears to be) hydraulic cylinder that operates the lifting mechanism?

There does not seem to be anything on the "shoe beam" attached to the bogies to lift the blade.

You mean the lifting mechanism at the front of the tank?

There is hydraulic pump mounted inside on the transmission controlled by bow gunner , the hose runs through the light mount on the hull and is covered by an armored shield. The blade is lifted by the nose mount cylinder , the boogie attachment points are just hinges ( sorta )
