Wish Lists / Re: After Nam, a Hummer?
« on: February 06, 2022, 01:24:55 am »
I can`t belive that with so many years gone buy that here i am writing to you about the lack of vehicles in 1/56th to do Zombie, end of world, alien invasion. Iv`e had the chance over time to buy 1/64th civilian machines, of which some have been more correct to 1/56th in fact "Johny Lightning" Willys Jeeps are one of the best buys yet. Matching Rubicon in size and detail, and even a small engine under the hood. Iv`e "Winnes" for survivors traveling homes. I`ve built a WW2 Military. Vehicle. Conservation. Group. (M.V.C.G). using Rubicon US machines and civilian vehicles. Figures I use are, the old Wargames Factory, Civilians. now Warlord Games, Perry, and Wargame foundrys, now gone US infantry. I like the idea of rag tad just holding on "Falling Skies" group. The  thing is if you scratch buildings and scenery  its nice if it all blends in. Good look in your  project if you have any questions  ask away. Cheers Geoff.

Wish Lists / After Nam, a Hummer?
« on: January 11, 2022, 04:49:32 am »
Many years ago I enjoyed a game Twilight 2000, at the time when it came out on the box lid was an Hummer. I was late 20 s now I`m 67years young and the game as just been re-realised. Sadlly  i`ve still no Hummer this iconic vehicle as only resin bricks and 1/72 scale scale Kits. This would be the ultimate series of machines for you solid top, open, ambulance, etc.

Wish Lists / M35 Vietnam Truck

Bean away from all gamming / modelling. for 18 months so boy have i had a  wake up!!!. For Vietnam please think of the M35 TrucK  and the Command] as a plastic kit , it`s still being updated today.[/img]

I second "Pinky`s" Centurion  request, several Korea, projects are around now. A quality plastic kit would fit in nicely, as would other kits from your ranges. These Kits could pave a path from Korea to Arab/Israel as many others fit these two themes.

Moved house to our final home a bungalow, so at last started to get some modelling time so glad to see these, will you please give some thought to the command car and ambulance, Eileen brought me a Johnny Lightning D-day command car sadly unlike the Jeep the Command Car is small and not to scale. Very well made and I`ll treasure it but still no wargame item. I`ve a multi use for your models WW-2, Weird War -2, and a conservation group in Zombie /Apocalvpse  games. Plus fine display models in their own right.

Thank you for the photos , god you would have saved us £70 ( the total of our returned Walking dead) if we had seen these before .These are just what you need before making purchases. Love to have a Zombie info swap would you like our e-mail address.  Thank you Rubicon for allowing two modellers  to get the most from our collections.

Nice modelling your work never fails to impress My wife and I . Like yourself  I`m using the sets for Project Z ,I returned my Walking Dead K.S. brilliant sculpts but when they arrived the cars, barracades , supply cashes and some figures were scaled all over the place. Eileen and myself have 99% of our figures in 1/56th When standing next to our collection it was land of the gaints. Rubicon have given me the idea of a Military Conservation group for Zombie/ Survival games and the W.G.F Americans and Germans mix well with the Survivors, I see you use a Crooked Dice figure as your scale ref . Have you any idea how there range would work with our collection. Thank You Geoff and Eileen Maybury. Alias Airborne and Gingernut.

Thank you for sharing, recently there have been a few scenery offers by various companies in 3D. I for one have thought would they be worth trying. So it is really nice to have a professional Company like yourselves to talk so accurately about these printers. I think I will leave well alone and leave the nice work to you.

Cheers, I can under stand that is a good piece of mould, and yet easy to bend from wire. Will you give a paper templet on the instructions for beginners. I`m searching out our garage for the photos of my old girl. When I`ve found them I`ll forward them to you. I`d love a radio like the german one. Keep up the great work.
