I'm out at the moment but I'll post full available decal pics when I'm back. I'm after a US unit. The exact battle or location is undecided. Normally I pick from choices but I can't find any. Only thing would it can't be a snowy locale as the tank riders i have aren't in winter gear.

General Discussions / Re: Using your Rubicon Models

I don't play wargaming I just really like 1/56 scale models and rubicon models are very good quality. I was shocked at how nice my first kit the M4A3E8 fitted together and the level of detail and added extras like lots of storage bits :-) atm I have a bunch of tanks finished or mostly finished stored away safe from dust whilst I source bits to make some dioramas... lots of ideas just struggling to find what i need in the right scale

Wish Lists / After combat US tank crew
« on: April 29, 2020, 11:03:08 pm »
An idea I've had for a while after watching the film "Fury"

I make a lot of Sherman's and I'd love to see a set of US tankers appearing to lift a deceased crew mate out of the tank or lowering him off the side. He could be covered with a tankers jacket just like in the film.

I reckon a war torn sherman covered in holes having just rolled back to base with the crew lowering down a crew member would look seriously cool, just an idea though and don't know if it's possible :-)

Could be versions from other nations too

Hello all, Ryan here.

I'm fairly new to model making and I don't play the war games either. I've built a bunch of models but I've found myself really impressed by the quality of the rubicon kits, first stumbling upon them in the shop at bovington tank museum in Dorset, UK. I've made the sherman m4a3e8 so far and I'm part way through the m5a1 Stuart. After that will be the panther!

I only really do small kits due to limited space and money so it's lucky I've got a steady hand and good eye sight :P
