I really like this.  It captures the look of a Normandy campaign SPW - especially the weathering.  Nice work on the stowage too - is that Tamiya or Rubicon?

My only reservation is the Pak 36 with full gunshield.  By the time the Ausf D went into service, the gunshield had been cut down.

Thanks...
There are photos of them mounting the early pak and even russian 45s....alot of these mounts were field mods using the obsolete at guns.
Stowage is a combination of Tamiya 1:48 scale and Warlord 1:56 the model was built before the rubicon set was available.

Photos of the Pak 36 on an Ausf D?

The foliage you use is also really nice.  Do you make it yourself, or is it from a kit?

Pinky , the foliage looks like Army Painter Battlefields Poison Ivy . Really great stuff that I've used on 1/56 , 1/48 and 1/35 models . Glues on with a white glue water mix  , or I've tied larger " branches " to a 1/35 Cromwell covered in medical bandage  camo net , with thread  giving the effect of scale rope . In fact one of  my Pumas ended up looking like a bush with wheels , great for Normandy ambush tactics .

PINKY.....

It's a drawing...

I dunno why you didn't just put the cut-down shield on it.  Still a very nice model.

Hey Pinky

15232 Sdkfz 251 built....the D variant consisted of more than all the other 251 types combined. ..there is lucky to be a few hundred photos available of all 251's ...that leaves thoasands of vehicles never photographed...and your saying it didnt happen ?
Lol....
You have too much time on your hands ...lol....actually build a model rather than constantly looking for flaws in the ones others build....you may find you would actually enjoy the hobby more !

You talk about negative waves, but the truth is there were none until you showed up. You should some respect to Pinky. Take a look at the other post in the forum and you will see all the constructives comments he has done in order to improve the accuracy of the Rubicons models.

Hey little smart ass punks...
I dont critisise other peoples work...but will say something to shut up those that have nothing better to do than inflict negative thoughts and coments .....just to try and elevate themselves. ...
