Making good plastic figures require a different set of skills than designing plastic vehicle kits.  Making a few figures to accompany a vehicle kit is relatively easy, but to create an infantry sprue is much more difficult.  Even if we mastered digital sculpting, mould making is the next hurdle that we must conquer.

Making pewter figures is a sure way to refine our digital sculpting skills.  We can continue to refine the pose of each figure we did for each batch we produced until we are satisfied with them.  At the same time, we will continue to make plastic figure sprues for our vehicles in order to explore various mould making techniques to create the "perfect" infantry sprue.

Adding more plastic projects to the mould making queue will not help us learn and strengthen our knowledge and portfolio.  2018 is the year for us to consolidate and build a more solid base for what is to come... Yes, we are very ambitious!  Just wait and see... ;)

BTW, we have three design teams now!  A solid experienced team for plastic vehicles design, another expanded team for digital sculpting team, and an OEM team for other projects.  New product lines and expansions will not affect what we are currently doing!

I wonder if they also want to get some out there before investing in plastic moulds.

White Dragon models https://whitedragonminiatures.co.uk and Anvil Industries https://anvilindustry.co.uk both do their figures in resin (and will be at Salute).

Just updated our Release Schedule with the latest info...  No plastic vehicles

Well... I said at the end of November 2017 to my pal: "Don't worry, I won't get Rubicon GAZ-AA & T-26 before September 2018."
Looks I was right again  :D

Haha... might not be too true!

With our logistic improving and having a local warehouse, we will be able to release new products on a monthly basis and not quarterly... hopefully!  Hahaha!

That's an impressive release of blister packs.  I will have a close look at the plastic figures.

I'll probably get most of the plastic sets except the BMW riders, with multiples of the tank crews - provided the facial detail is better defined.  And the plastic Jeep trailer.  I'll pass on the large scale figures and the resin tanks.

Is 284015 Soviet tank riders or Soviet tank crew? The illustration is of crew and 284005 shows metal tank riders.

One of those Citroens turned up in a Belgian television series available on iPlayer. Must remember to get one.

Damn "copy & paste"... 284015 should be plastic Soviet Tank Crew.  The Tank Riders are metal.

It’ll probably be 2 sets of each of the US stuff, jeep trailer, Patton and 1 of each of the French vehicles for me.

I'm certainly interested in the Brit/commenwealth tank/vehicle crews & the Waffentrager is too fun a glass hammer not to pick up (plus a couple of the Traction Avant's).
Are there likely to be any for sale at Salute?

It's a shame the tank riders are metal, when the tank crew is plastic, although they look like nice sculpts I've found metal really doesn't work for tank riders (for wargaming purposes - if you want them removeable).

Definitely will be a few bits I'll be getting though. What's the chance the US TD crew would work with the Warlord plastic M18 Hellcat?

I assume the plastic Rommel is the same as the one in the command halftrack expansion?
