I'm also going to guess the conversion kits will also allow you to make a stand alone or towed AA gun?

The two upcoming kits (1) 2cm Flakvierling 38 AA gun (280073) and (2) 3.7cm Flak 43 AA cannon (280074) are basically standalone AA gun/cannon that both come with a trailer and gun crew.  You can also turn them into a mounted variant using the SdKfz 7 half-track kit (280065).
