I have no connection to any manufacturer except as a customer.

I find Rubicon's openness about their production schedule engaging, and I am impressed with the agility of their design, prototyping and production.

I suspect that other manufacturers are not so agile, an example being a certain AA tank that was released earlier in 2015. The master may well have been ordered before Rubicon mentioned their intentions. Of course, once a plastic model was announced they would have to find some way to recoup their costs. The Italeri 2015 list has not been delivered and that was only a small number of models. I suspect the PSC style models have had a similar lead time

Yes, under the 'Still WIP-Drawing board/3D Prototyping' listing is a M3/M3A1 Expansion Set. Is that for the M3/M3A1 halftrack kit, or for the M5A1 Stuart/M8 Scott kit?

That's for their halftrack - it's intended to include a canopy, and parts for other versions such as the M21.

I figured as much. It was just wishful thinking that it would be for the M5A1 Stuart kit

Just curious? What other expansions for the M5A1 do you expected?

FYI, there is an US & Allied Stowage set coming out later this year... with the turret side MG.  Also an US tank crew set planned!
;)

I didn't't expect an expansion for the M5A1, you had listed an expansion set for the M3/M3A1,and you didn't say halftrack. The M5A1 and M3/M3A1 share the same suspension, and it was only wishful thinking, out loud ,I guess, that I asked the question. I'm up for any early war vehicles.

Sorry for the confusion.  Sometimes we also get confused with all these US designations too!

For sure there will be some early war US vehicles coming in 2016!

Thanks for the reply. That would be GREAT to see some early war armor released this year. It takes forever for me to convert the Warlord M-4 into a early M-4A1. You guys have been doing an excellent job of releasing new products In the short time that you have been around.Keep up the excellent work!!

Cool - thanks.  Shame you have to be coy about future releases...

So does this mean that the Hetzer etc are out?

We will still continue to post new projects as usual.  Just that it will not be at a very early stage like we used to be.
We felt customer feedback are very important to us in building projects.

The Hetzer, together with the M8/M20 and M10/M36 are now available! You can pick them up at your favorite hobby store!  ;)
