PBR 31 Mk II Patrol Boat Prototype 210507
« on: April 09, 2021, 12:13:32 pm »
This is another project for the new 'Nam range... the PBR 31 Mk II Patrol Boat.

This is our FIRST watercraft project and we had spent a lot of time researching to make sure we are doing it right.

We still have not decided whether to produce this kit in plastic or in resin as the production cost varies significantly.  Will do some more marketing research before proceeding.

Enjoy!

This looks brilliant, hope you do it in plastic but I'll be having at least one whatever it's made of.

Following up on our Riverine Patrol Boat project which we'd announced in April, and here it is... prototype of the PBR 31 Mk II.

The sculpting of the boat crew is now in progress, we will post them here once they are done!

Enjoy!

It looks great!

Minor point.  That grenade launcher is actually a Mk18 not a Mk19. The Mk18 was a hand cranked item that used the same ammo as the M79. The Mk19 is a bigger, blow back operated item that fires a different 40mm round.
