Wasn't really interested in the North African theater , but thinking now of a Kubel / Rommel's 250 Grief and a early Tiger diorama might be in my future . Really love those sand tires  ::)

Kubelwagens look better with fatter tyres, that's for sure.  The standard tyres don't look as though they were much use off-road.

I am happy to see this kit.  I think some of the details are a bit off though:

- the headlights are too 'fat' looking and the detail is badly defined
- the shovel on the left fender is the wrong shape - the head should be flatter and wider
- the covered windshield doesn't seem to be attached to anything
- the canvas top folded up more neatly; on the kit it looks like a blanket roll
- the tread pattern on the desert tyres is exaggerated - it was far less prominent
