Title: About our RESIN products... 190117
Post by: Rubicon Models on January 17, 2019, 07:01:58 pm
After we had started our new resin range, there had been a lot of customers asking the same question "How do our resin kits compare to other manufacturers"?
With no intention to offend anyone or manufacturers, here is our answer:

- Most of our resin kits are "factory pre-cleaned" so that you can start assembly and painting right out-of-the-box!

- Whenever is possible, you will still have options and build choices.

- Clean and crisp workmanship and duplication because we have a very tough Quality Control to eliminate time-wasting (to customers) after-sales customer service!

- Assembly instruction (and sometimes decals) are included with each resin kit to guide customers through the build process.

Our team spend the time to go through each step of the design process to make sure our kits are of the highest standard from the customer's point of view... because we are a customer too!

At the risk of sounding excessively sycophantic, your resin kits/add-ons are easily the best currently available in god's own scale  & are an excellent way of filling gaps in the range where the subject is a little niche or unlikely to recoup the cost of creating an injection mold in the short term (much as we'd love it all to be in plastic). Really looking forward to the resin tracks - are you likely to have them available by Salute this year?

The resin tracks had been on the queue for a long time, but their priority had been low... not because they are in low demand, but they are pain-in-the-axse to clean... factory staff are trying to avoid doing it.  From our record, the tracks should start getting a master mould after the Chinese New Year holiday... that's the 3rd week of February!  Hope they will stay on schedule.

Personally I would have said Trenchworx set the bar for quality of resin kits, which I said to you at Salute a couple of years back now.

But now, I can safely say that the Rubicon kits set the standard for resin quality.

I have to agree.

Will the Italian P40 ever come back into stock? Or is that it now?

The P40 was produced in collaboration with our friends at Heer46 which they own the IP rights.  Unless they wanted a second production batch, we are not able to make them without their approval.  :(
