British 40mm Bofors AA Autocannon - TS1 Assembled 210208

The Bofors 40mm Anti-Aircraft Autocannon is our NEW "Project of the Month" for May 2020.

Besides making a British (QF 40mm Mk III) variant, we have plans to create a US (M1) and a German (4cm FlaK 28) version, initially with a plastic British gun crew; maybe optional US and German crew in blister packs after release.  Have a nice Labour Day weekend!

Bolt Action wise (possibly only tangential to reality), the CMP 15cwt is available.

The Quad is in progress.

The Bedford needs a QLB configuration then. I have no info on using Quads to pull AA guns

IBG Models make a QLR tractor and Wireless in 1/72 scale.
Looking at the parts RM would need to make them as an upgrade set, similar to the Opel body set....hay......must not get too far ahead of oneself, the RM workforce need a brake from work as well.

Just to ask....is the gun for early/mid war? I have seen a few American/Normandy photos that that have different styles of stabaliser arms that fold in for transport mode.

IRC IBG  QLR & AFV Bofors in 1/35 ( misc web grab )

Looks like the same wheel base as the QLD kit but with a shorter body ? Possible future Rubicon kit ?

After a long wait, the first plastic test shots for the British 40mm Bofors AA autocannon is finally upon us! 

A two-sprue kit with 4 gun crew...

First plastic test shots for the British 40mm Bofors AA autocannon had been assembled and primed for preview.

The 2-sprue plastic kit can be assembled in deployed and transport mode with elevating gun, 4 British gun crew, and ample of ammo. Even comes with a spare gun barrel in a box, just like the real thing.
