A RUBICON REVIEW & PREVIEWLooking Back... 20182018 had been a year of consolidation for us at Rubicon Models. We now have a full-strength design team of 20 staff looking after all our digital design and production needs. We also acquired additional hardware (yes! more sculpting machines, scanner and printer) to support our daily work. We now have two online stores (

www.rubiconmodels.co.uk) looking after our US and EU customers.
What’s more, we had been working with several European manufacturers bringing their products to the US; these included Heer46, Stoessi’s Heroes and May ‘40 Miniatures. More are on their way!
Mould work on the new Panzer IV is almost done and is undergoing quality control assessment, and the Panzer III digital work had been completed awaiting mould making arrangement. We had only released
9 plastic kits this year due to our focus being shifted a little bit to set up a resin vehicle and accessory range. With this completed, the plastic kit releases will resume its normal schedule.
We have also released
6 resin or plastic conversion kits for our existing plastic kits, more will be added to build up this new range. The pewter and plastic figure & accessories range is also getting reinforcement this year... we have added another
29 items making a total of 58 for now!
Also, we will continue to update our products based on customer feedback. Your input is an invaluable asset to us at Rubicon Models. We listen!
Looking Ahead... 20192019 will be our
5th year in business under the Rubicon Models brand name. To celebrate, 2019 will be a year of plentiful... meaning that we will be at full throttle shipping out new products! In our current arsenal are
13 plastic projects,
9 resin conversion or complete kits, and over
20 pewter blister packs for just Q1 and Q2 coming 2019!
For Asia Pacific customers, we have plans to work on a new website to serve the region. Once completed, we will be able to cover most of our customers around the world.
During our last four years (2015 to 2018), Rubicon Models had already released
60 plastic kits (over 130 possible variants our of these 60 kits),
10 resin conversion or complete kits,
3 plastic scenery products, and
58 pewter or plastic blister packs. We are committed and will continue to create quality products for the gaming and modelling community... and with your support, will do so for many years to come!
