the Churchill artwork in the italeri catalogue is a mk3, the warlord artwork is a mk4 so maybe you get both turrets?

just had an email from my italeri supplier, the warlord Churchill picture is a mk3 welded turret version, in gun tank, avre and na75 variants, not many mk3's were converted to na75's most were mk4's.
maybe rubicon should do a mk4 or 7.

not sure about too many variations but all m4's and m4a1s I have seen have a cut out rear plate

i have identified at least 4 late hulled m4a1's with 75mm turrets, all are dd tanks, mostly usa but 1 was in gb army use.
I think an m4a1 would be ideal, but an early type as both the us and gb forces can use it.
the best bet is an m4a4 to make a firefly, 75mm, arv and crab flail ect.
but a Churchill m3 & 4 also would be great.

the rear hull plate on the m4 is different than the m4a2, the m4 and m4a1 has a cut out where the airfilters are, so it would mean a separate hull end plate at least.
shermans are not easy to understand and lots of big differences, sadly for us manufacterers!

there was never a Sherman 2 firefly, as far as I can tell.
the sherman 1 hybrid would be ok, but a Sherman 1 would be ok as a firefly.
a Sherman 5 would be best imho!
of course italeri/warlord do a Sherman 1 so doing the same type would be daft, so go for a mk5 lots of conversion potential
or a Sherman 2, but less conversions done.
Churchill mk3 or 4 and avre

I agree, better rubicon sticks to the main vehicles as sales of the specials would be far lower to make financial sense.
looking forward to seeing what we can do with the new releases

possibly an overflow pipe as the tanks are under pressure when used.

there is a lot of difference between the a9 and a10, the a9 is longer for a start and the hulls are only similar from the rear of the turret backwards.
good suggestion but will need 2 different kits.
Churchill mk3 & 4 would be best imho
