Interesting.
The perforated guard keeping the gunner out of the workings looks rather short.
I guess the gunner should not be behind the end of the guard.

www.scalewarmachines.com has some close up pictures of the guns breach and side guard..........and lots of other bits that may be of interest to you all.

Originally a RESIN project, but we had turned it into a plastic kit... Here is our 75mm Gun on Carriage M2A3, plastic test shot #1.
The 75mm tank gun has its origins in the famous French Canon de 75 modèle 1897 field gun of WW1 fame, which was also adopted by the US and used well into WW2 as the 75mm M1897 field gun.

Hooray! Artillery! King of battle.

Glad this is plastic!

Fantastic choice... power to the plastic!
I can't wait to get some of these.
Yes, I know that plastic is not good for the environment, but that side effect is because of irresponsible people. Most if not all of the modellers/gamers I know recycle their plastic sprues/bits and not just toss it into the fields, oceans, and rivers. And when I say recycle, I'm talking about using the plastic sprue and extra bits to make other things and/or making sure they go into the recycling bins to be recycled.

Yes you are right Tracks power to the plastic I wish RM will make the same move for the sheridan M551. On RM's facebook and on this forum some people have mentionned their wishes to see this tank in plastic and not in pewter.
I know I know I never give up..... :)

Once again an excellent choice.
Any chance of producing a kit to allow the combining of the gun and half track to produce the tank destroyer?

Somehow we missed posting the M3 GMC drawings on the forum. These were done back in March 2020.
Similar to the M16 MGMC, the original design was an M3 half-track conversion kit; which eventually prompted us to turn the 75mm M3 gun into plastic.
The M3 GMC is still being a resin/pewter conversion kit with a plastic M3 half-track frame, a plastic 75mm gun, and resin gun shield, half-track hull, etc.

YES! I had been looking for this drawing but couldn't find it.
Just like in "Kelly's Heroes".
US Tank Destroyers in North Africa, Soviet Armies, this will be a great addition.
I like it!

Nice :)
It also puts an end to this project 8)

I get the impression this will be an all-in-one kit, but better ask anyway. Will this be a conversion kit for the half-track kit, or an all-in-one kit with half-track plus the conversion bits?
