Feldwebel  , why don't you ask in forum if somebody has those decals to trade or give away   ? I'm sure someone on here could mail them to you if they didn't need them . A M4A4 isn't on my to buy list at the moment but will be in a couple of months . And as I only model Canadians or Poles I can let you have them if you still need them then

I would  build the bridge  separate from the tank  , positioned over a ditch / stream  type base, or maybe a crater on a beach / sea wall to be used as scenic piece . Building it in transport mode would be insane for gaming , as a diorama , it would be ok if you had the shelf space . I'm still considering getting one .

It really fits in with the back ground scene ( land around where you live or photo shop ? ) I think if you posted the pictures in black & white they could pass as actual WW2 photos

I scratched the AVRE mounts on my plastic Churchill . Not fun trying to get them mirror imaged . What do you think of the S&S bridge for the AVRE ? I want one ...

Welcome . That AVRE looks really good , Warlord  resin or  Italeri / Warlord plastic with the S&S AVRE add on kit ?

Yup , Ivan loves his MGs . Here's a Trumpeter  model of the JS - 7 prototype ( 1948 ) . MGs on each hull side firing forward , two on turret  firing to the rear , a 14.5mm AA gun , and IRC a 12.7 and 7.62 with the main 130mm gun

The Chieftain did a walk around video of this beast at the Kabinka Tank  Museum.

IRC , they call those "starfish " wheels . Maybe Rubicon can include both sets in the kit , then I can use them to up grade a T-34/85 to a Middle Eastern or African 1980s version . Oh the kit bash possibilities

85
I was hoping after the separate cables in the JPanther kit , Rubicon might continue to include them in their newer kits . No problem though as I have lots of  thread ( scale ship's cables ) to add to the tow loop.
I just noticed WWP Books has a book on the 3/5/6 Centurion . The previous books I've got from them have been very good photo / info wise , plus good ( IMO ) prices / shipping . Will be putting it on my " to buy " list

I notice the tow cables are 2 different lengths ( Cent 3 / Cent 5 extended hull ) . Are they in the kit as  molded plastic or pieces of string/thread  which we cut to size ?

Very nice looking planes . But at $170 Canadian  or so each   :o . that's just crazy . For that kind of money I could probably get 7 or 8 1/48 scale Monogram planes ( reboxed by Revell I think ) , or more than a dozen Airfix 1/72 planes .

Have you decided which Army  will be fielding  your M4A2 ? If so , post pictures of the decal sets you have  and we'll see if we can help

Thanks . Really disappointed my 1st idea didn't work out , I'll have to revisit that at another time . And now I find I'm getting low on arms that are suitable for crew figures . I seem to have used up all the non weapon holding arms from my BA sprues . Guess its time to order a few more

The M3 AC still sits awaiting a finished crew . Instead I built a Warlord  M-10 tank destroyer which I picked up on the last trip to the big city  . I was going make it an early version ( no turret counter weight )  in Soviet service but had a hard time making the groucers .                          So instead I decided to make it in Free French service with a full 5 man crew . Unfortunately the driver hatches don't look / fit right in the open position IMO ,so I closed them ( should have got the Rubicon tank destroyer crew blister , next time ) Any way , I managed to figure out a 3 man turret crew using the BA seated plastic German's lower bodies ( short boots ) and various upper torsos from the parts box .

I  based the decal placement on various photos from Google and a couple of French WW2 sites , although I have no idea which unit this combination represents . I liked the idea of the smaller stars with one off set on the turret top and 2 on the turret weight undersides . Decals were sourced from various sets , both Warlord and Rubicon . I also based the stowage placement on the same photos , I used stuff from Warlord , Rubicon , Tamiya 1/48 and the spare wheels I cast in resin . I added the D to the fuel cans as this vehicle used diesel fuel, the letters came from a 1/35 decal set . It still needs a few more bits on the engine deck and some weapons / ammo cans for the crew once they're finished ( 50 cal , Thompson , M1 carbine )
