Good show!  Glad to see there is an option for no spaced armour on the III turret
Sorry Porkmann, you will be disappointed... we have overlooked the rendering until the box are printed.  However, we have plans to do another Panzer III variant... this time without the spaced armour!

Wish Lists / Re: British Tanks? What British Tanks?
« on: October 03, 2014, 08:42:02 pm »
PORTA: Only six prototypes of the Centurion entered the war in Feb 1945, and the war end in May...  We might do one for the Korean War if we decided to do that era.  As for the Crusader, the tank was produced between 1940 and 1943, but continued to be in service until 1945.  Will be under our radar...  Thanks!

poiter50: Both the Alder Kfz.13 and the Morris CS9 are not in our current list; but we do have plans to do some early war vehicles next year.  Being that said, we are not saying we will not produce these kits, just not right now!

Porkmann: For the StuG III, it is true the F8 (03/42) and G (11/42) are very similar; but after 1942, the G had many feature changes that make us impossible to combine the F8/G into a single kit.  The question is "Will the customers want a F8/G early production kit in the 1942 era" or "Will the customers wants a G that covers early/mid/late production (1942-44)"?  Sadly, the Plastic Soldier version is in 15mm so they are able to "overlook" a lot of the details, we can't do that in 28mm.

There are some vehicles you had suggested are on our list, some are not. Will continue to monitor this wish list to adjust R&D schedule.

Awesome! I just love this Kind of Stuff....seems like i have to become a Distributor to get one. ;-)
Not quite! The first batch might be for our distributors!  If we are doing well, we might be able to sponsor some competitions and events through our distributors; then everyone lucky enough will have one!

Wish Lists / Re: US Half-Tracks and Variants
« on: September 21, 2014, 12:50:22 am »
I know you said you have some soft sides on your list but I would love to get my hands on some M2/M3 Half-Tracks with Anti-Tank and Anti-Air variants.
It really comes to the number of parts that you can fit on a sprue.  We had been working on different solutions to maximize the number of variants or options available on each kit.  In the end, we always had to scarify something in order to complete the project.  Hopefully with the eventual release of our first six kits in October, we should have more financial backup to tryout something new!

...a M3 Half-Track with an anti-tank gun is something we always wanted to do!

Rubicon Models Plaque 2014

While our first six kits are being send to factory for commercial production... and in-between projects, we have created a plaque as something that we are going to give away for special occasions!  The first thing that came to mind is a gift to our new partners – various Regional Distributors who will help us promote and sell our products.  Next in line will be for sponsoring special events in the near future!

Clay Sculpt based on some old WW2 pictures and our tanks!

This type of WIP projects will not even be posted on our webpage or Facebook page, or only be posted at a much later date.
This is also one of the reasons to register and visit the forum frequently.  Enjoy!
