I was thinking of a one day 75% off sale.  Maximum 6 kits.

I don't see enough lead time to create a kit for release by then.  It should have been in the pipeline starting last year.

There is sand and there are palm trees in other places besides North Africa.
But there was an movie about an Italian elite unit that according to the story saved the Afrika Korp at El Alamein.  The various vehicles used in the movie include M-47s , M113s and many others appearing on both sides of the battle.

It could be a lot to ask for individual sheets targeted to specific years: 39 - 42, 43 - 45 and North Afrika.

Great pictures.  Looking at the Centurion I reflect that WWII 46 games forget the Centurion, T-44 and M26 Pershing would have featured prominently in Allied forces to oppose the Panther II, Lowe, Maus and E series German AFVs.

Lots of good history of Canadian Armor.

Canadian Skink 20 mm Quad Anti-Aircraft Tank.
Along with the Canadian RAM II which also could use the M3 Lee chassis and early tracks.

I agree an M4A1 is a priority.  I would like a base chassis in order to field an M12 artillery piece.  This 155mm SPA was used in Europe as a bunker buster.  As one German commander was quoted that when the Americans began using the 155mm howitzer as a sniper weapon he knew it was time to surrender.
The M3 Lee/Grant was also used for the M31 ARV.  The base kit could be the platform for a variety of upgrade kits as was done for the Sdkfz 250/251.  An M12 kit, a Grizzly kit, a M31 kit.  imho

Cuckoo.
The German 'big cat' tamed by the British during the Battle of Holland in late 1944.  In Feb. 45 the fuel pump broke and it was abandoned.

Protze to an SdKfz 247 conversion.  I look forward to this kit.  Very useful across all European fronts and years.

Oh my.  This is needed for my reconnaissance company.

The SdKfz 10 towed many things including anti-tank guns, Flak, goulash cannons, howitzers.  The basic platform could be the genesis for many vehicle variants.  Like the T-26 a Sdkfz 10 kit could be many things.

"The Spielberger German Armor & Military Vehicles Volume 3 - Panzer III and its Variants".
There's a volume 3?
I need to go shopping.
Oh, wait.  It's just the third volume on the series.

I am so looking forward to this version of the Sherman tank.

Wish Lists / Type 166 Schimmwagen
« on: October 24, 2018, 06:44:48 am »
The VW Type 128 and 166 Schwimmwagen (literally Swimming Car) were amphibious four-wheel drive off-roaders, used extensively by German ground forces during the Second World War. The Type 166 is the most numerous mass-produced amphibious car in history.
Used in reconnaissance units I believe this would be a popular vehicle and useful in games.
