Title: Kitbashing with our plastic bits? 190520
Post by: Rubicon Models on May 20, 2019, 01:15:52 pm
What is more relaxing than finding spare bits from your bit box and do an interesting kitbashing?

Not sure what to do with the spare bits from our plastic kits? With a little imagination and creativity, they can become anything... even in a historical sense!

Rico from our HK studio had kitbashed this German fuel trailer (betriebsstoffanhänger) using bits from the following kits:

280022 German Stowage Set 1
280057 Pak 36 AT Gun with Crew
2800xx Krupp Protze (not yet released)
280062 SdKfz 222/223 Light Armoured Car
280073 2cm Flakvierling 38 with Trailer & Crew (Q2 Release)

...coupled with some copper wires and plastic strips.

We will post more pictures after it is painted. Hope you like it.

Enjoy!

Since all those parts are already in the computer could a sprue be generated with these parts relatively inexpensively?

Nice work and a good idea for using the bits in your bits box.

And judging from photos ( frm Missing Lynx ) they came with dish or wire wheel options

Plus looks like you could tow them in tandem .
