Would really love some of these
-
Thanks Elias we can dream for now!
-
I'd really like to see some of these too. Along with their German and British equivalents (i.e. light trucks like the Horch or Steyr, and the Morris).
-
I agree with Pinky, though I do keep being diverted by Rubicon's shiny tanks ^___^.
-
With the Willys MB almost completed and ready for mould making, we are
looking into doing another truck as a side project to go along with the main
ones. Still have not decided on which one to do - many we don't have any
reference material...
Being a side project, it will take much longer time to complete, and even
longer to get it to mould making. Top on the list (with no specific order)
include:
1) Kubelwagen Type 82
2) Schwimmwagen Type 166
3) 6x4 Krupp Protze (Kfz 69/70)
4) Horch Type 1a
5) Steyr Type 100A/01
6) M3 White Scout Car
7) 4x4 Ford GPA
8 ) GMC DUKW
9) 4x4 Dodge WC51
10) 6x6 Dodge WC62
11) 4x2 Morris 15CWT
12) 4x2 Austin Tilly
13) 1.5t GAZ-AA/GAZ-AAA
Please feel free to comment...

Wow , all great ideas for future kits . I'll take one of each please :) . Which ever you produce I'm sure that the kits will be as awesome as the ones you've released so far . Top of my list would be the Kubel .
-
I will be right behind Ripley in the queue. Can't wait to see some of these listings. A DUKW, Ford GPA, Dodge WC51 and W62 would be right up my street. Am still interested in the Axis as well, but the Yanks would make my year's wish. Thank you.
-
Great list - it's hard to pick one. I feel that a Horch or Steyr would be very popular. A Kubelwagen seems like a natural compliment to the Jeep. And a Dodge and a Morris would be well received too (a British truck makes sense with all the British armour kits being released by WL). Overall, I think I'd go for the Scout Car or a Horch/Steyr.
-
Besides wheels, is there much (model) commonality between the kubelwagen and the schwimmwagen?
A Kubelwagen would be nice, a schwimmwagen does appeal.
As Pinky mentions, the Tilly and the fifteen hundredweight would be good with the British tanks currently available.
-
Now you can see our problem with so many choices... all good ones too! Hahaha!
Need to start one soon! ;)
-
I would start with a British one. For the Germans you already have the Opel Blitz, for the Americans the GMC and for the Russians the Studebaker.
-
That sounds fair to me.
-
That sounds fair to me.
Not only fair - sounds quite good!
And after that: 6) M3 White Scout Car -- widely used from several armies! And I have something to forget the 1/35 Italerie and 1/72 Esci Scout Car ::)
-
Yes I really want the Yanks, so the M3 Scout car is a good choice as a multi used machine. Still with that listing, I`ll wait the menu is great."Just let em role".
-
i second the Dodge WC 54 , it was the late war emblematic ambulancy and there is no model produced ...
and the Dodge WC 56/57 .

Just found this post, after starting a new White Scout Car request.. apologies.
The Rubicon list is good.
I would put the White Scout Car on the top of the list, with the Horch, WC-51, and Kubel/Schwimmwagens following.
Maybe a CMP Ford, and if you are going to make a 15cwt truck for the Brits, we can get the Morris in resin from a number of suppliers - how about a Bedford MWD instead.?
