Are there any plans to do a US Airborne crew/version or is the standard US one appropriate for Airborne use?

Yeah photographing miniatures is a surprisingly difficult thing to do well! These both look fantastic though, great work  :)

Work In Progress / Re: Jagdpanzer 38 Hetzer - NEW Expansion Kit?? 171218

I'd be surprised if there were the interest/demand for this justified the cost of plastic tooling, even if it's only a couple of extra parts. Or are Rubicon thinking the additional conversion parts needed be in resin?
Resin conversion parts to expand the range in a (relatively) cheap way, and to cover some (potentially) lower demand variants was something that had been talked about before?

I do like the leveraging of some of the different expansion kits in alternate combinations this way though, it is a neat idea.

If it is derived from the PSC kit, then it is possible that the box contains components for both.

I've seen the sprues, it does look a lot like the PSC kit but definitely only has the parts for the 139.

Yes the BA Marder III is the SdKfz 139 , with the Russian 76.2 gun . The H had a larger upper hull / crew compartment and the 75mm Pak 40/3

Thanks, yeah that's what I thought! Not sure what it says about WLG that the boxes etc for the model have Ausf H on them....?  ;D

And there's no Italari logo on the Marder box, so it definitely isn't one of theirs.

Yeah the Marder 3 is the early version, I think a lot of people wanted the M which is the later variant, but personally happier it's not! The weirder thing about Warlords Marder is, (at least unless you learned folks can correct me) is I'm pretty sure it's the Marder 3 139 - not the 138 Ausf H.....?

Would it be possible to get the dimensions of the Katyusha kit please?

Thanks!

Yeah, considering that the US only took delivery of six M4A2 76(w), it did seem strange to have US crew. That said, they would needed to have created a brand new spruce for the Russians and I understand the costs and stuff.

The Russian Tank Crew blister will soon be available, so there will be no shortage of Soviet tank crews in the very near future!  A recap if you have seen them yet...

Fair enough, they do look good! How soon is soon though?  :P

Jimmy , the small sprue  in the bottom right hand corner  ( above the copyright ) is the figure sprue . IRC ,  Rubicon posted a picture of it full size showing the figures ( both 3 Yanks & 3 Brits ) on one of the ( many )  Sherman  threads . Someones bound to remember what thread and when posted  , I don't  I'm afraid  :-[   Sprue shown in Assembly Instructions Sherman M4A2 / Sherman III & M4A2 76mm tank . I found it ! ;D

Ah okay, thanks!

Yank crews and no Russians is a bit of a shame for the A2 though. I assume it's the same sprue with the other Shermans?

« on: November 15, 2017, 07:29:32 am »

What about having some tank crew in the stowage set....? Not quite as many as the PSC stowage set perhaps, but would be a way to get some crew for kits that don't have any (and take advantage of your improvements in figures too). Particularly something like EW Russian crew for your T34 kit, etc?

Looks good, enough bits to make two complete turrets then...? No crew though?

Incidentally, are you guys planning to do the M4A4 / Sherman V or not?
