Fantastic, even better than I expected, I look forward to getting my hands on some.

 Lovely job :)
Stompie's had a good number of paintjobs over the years, the most recent made an appearance on  BBC1's This Week (a political commentary show) this past Thursday.

They look very good & I'll happily take one over the WG offering.
As for 'chipping', while it's a viable technique for adding interest to a paintjob, (I've certainly used it) it is very easy to overdo (not that it is on these examples). In fairness, most of the established 'weathering' painters in print (such as Mig Jimenez, Reuben Torregrosa or Adam Wilder) do all they can to state 'less is more', short of printing it all caps. Unlike scratches, which could conceivably occur on almost any surface of the vehicle, 'chipping' - intense localised wear, should only be applied on 'high traffic' areas of the hull/turret where many boots, hard edged kit or objects in the enviroment regularly rub (& exhausts where I suppose it could be better refered to as blistering/flaking).

The Heer46 conversion kit is good & fits perfectly on the Rubicon model - it's down to whether the level of detail provided is enough (it's a little light if you're going to be purist about it & the 20mm barrel is huge, better to replace it with some brass rod) - & whether you like resin/metal add-ons.

A cool project, I look forward to seeing it, the tow cables as seperate pieces are a nice touch (are they likely to be all plastic, or just the eyes & some wire/thread - the former provides ease of assembly, the latter more flexibility on placement).

My money goes on... Jagdpanther - it may be pure bullish ignorance on my part but there appear to be several things that hint very heavily at it (to me at least).

 1) It does appear to be a fixed casemate vehicle - the upper glacis seems to go all the way up the front face & seems a little broad for a turreted vehicle - there's also an artifact that looks like it might be the hull ball mount mg about 2/3rds of the way up.

2) The mantlet appears to be the flat sided pyramidal shape found on the Jagdpanther, (ok - also the first 50 Tiger II's as well, but I've discounted that for the previously stated reason) not the conical mantlet of the majority of the Tiger II production run.

3) The image hints at the rectangular mantlet surround found on the Jagdpanther.

4) The angle of the upper & lower glacis say German (to me at least) - a fairly pronounced point absent in allied vehicles. The implied track sag would also looks fit a German subject (though of course couldn't discount a Soviet vehicle on it's own).

Ok, now i'll just wait (with coat in hand - just in case of a facepalm moment :P) till they put us out of our misery.

Lovely, the waiting is killing me though :'( & fantastic to hear passengers are also inbound.

The Tiger II looks pretty good, (giving you both turrets is a nice touch) - the Zim is only ok, it's far too neat & regular as they've taken the 'vertical columns of horizontal ridges' pattern used on Tiger II's (among others) a bit too literally, though once you started to chip bits away it'll look better. (& as mentioned before, the cupola MG mount is the same nonsense as appears on their Panther & Tiger)
I like the look of the Maultier, & while I don't doubt that Rubicons version will prove superior when directly compared, WG have sweetened the pot by giving you the Blitz/Maultier option in the kit (plus, while a small thing, including some acetate for windows is nice). The main point for me is the inclusion of passengers - I'm hoping that they're better than the earlier 251 examples (which, being more accurately 1/56 looked a bit silly next to the standard infantry figure). I'm hoping that they're, in fact a little oversized - somewhere between Perry figures & WG & also, please let them fit in the Rubicon/WG 251 models (I'll happily accept a little judicious trimming & bending but draw the line at amputation. That the figures themselves are two part & appear to be larger than those provided previously gives me some hope - but we'll see.

Very nice, I like the choice of Flamvernichters - & putting individual track waffle detail on, even if it's only the front makes the world of difference.

Another vote for a plastic Comet from me.
Pinky - you're right, the hull hatches are very small - they are L-shaped in cross section but getting in or out required a similar technique to getting into a car that's had the doors welded shut, you don't go straight down but angle yourself in, (TheChieftanWoT - on YouTube) demonstates this quite well on his excellent walkaround of Bovingtons Comet (he's also 6'+ so is a good comparison). This is par for the course on British tanks, seeing (essentially correctly) that any hole in the hull as weakening it's integrity.
Both US & German AFVs had more generously proportioned interiors, with notable exceptions such as the Jagdpanzer 38t which would surely win hands down in the uncomfortable stakes.

While acknowledging that it's likely that the attachment points for schurzen in different materials is going to be a little fragile, I'm very happy to see Rubicon having a go at them.
I think that a strip of plastic card attached to the back of the skirts, matching up with the attachment points on the model could provide a better weld with the kit, holding them on more robustly.

They look very nice :)

Interesting, how do you intend to attach them to the plastic?
- I suppose that might depend to a degree as to what they're eventually made from - PE on 1/72 & 1/35 models will sometimes be fine using plastic cement - the plastic melts enough to hold the PE in place, but for gaming models it's likely that superglue is going to be necessary & it's still likely to be more fragile than the rest of the kit.
