A lot of requests for an M4A3E2 Jumbo...
Here is the preliminary drawing for a resin conversion kit designed for our M4A3 plastic kit (280042).
Will do a 3D print for review after drawing approval.

Nice.

Very nice. I can't wait!!

Didn't the Jumbo also have a 105mm howitzer? Or would the one from the kit suffice?
-
No 105mm Jumbo tank ( M4A3E2 ) , The Jumbo mostly had 75mm gun ( it had better HE round than the 76mm ) with a few up gunned to the 76 ( for better AT penetration ) using guns from knocked out regular M4A3 tanks . About 500 regular M4A3, mounted the 105 though

That’s pretty cool!
And in the spirit of always wanting more than our gracious hosts are already giving us, has you considered doing a field modified jumbo too? Like Thunderbolt?
They were pretty standardised in their nature considering the way they upgraded them.

Please don't press your luck... they might run out! ;)

Is the 76mm the plastic one from the kit?
After asking around no 76mm jumbos had muzzle breaks except cobra king who was refurbished later on.

The one shown is the plastic one from the M4A3 kit. We probably will include a 76mm barrel without the muzzle brake. We need to figure out a way to make sure the 76mm barrel is straight throughout production.

Sounds like an excellent excuse to do some more metal barrels to me.
Pack of 2 metal 76mm guns

The M4A3E2 had prominent weld seams in between the added armour. I don’t see these on the renders which should be more than possible in resin. Will these be added?

There are weld seams around the extra armour plates, just difficult to see in the drawings. They are quite subtle and to scale too! Might not show up in an exaggerated manner in the final rein cast. ;)

Not really a fan of the US forces in WW2 ( I model Jerry , Tommy & Ivan ) but the idea of snow covered dio with a Jumbo and the jeep with the armor plates and twin bazookas is starting to get my creative juices flowing . Maybe driving past a KO ed J- Panther ? hmm

‘First into Bastogne’ would be a good diorama.

Is there a need for that? The builder will need to use the M4A3 (76) kit as the base so it has the right engine deck and the extended-edge-connector tracks, so they'll have both versions of the 76 barrel off the 76mm turret sprue anyway

Nice.
I will definitey get one, though I cannot think of a use for one ^___^.
-
Do you need a use for one? It just looks cool ^_^
I already have one from somewhere else, but I’m probably going to pick one up. Although all hobby is currently on hold for me due to carpel tunnel issue :(

While looking for some Sherman pictures I ran across this picture of a Jumbo nose casting being tested by 90mm and 3 inch shells
