What kind of stuff could they release  that hasn't been covered by someone  ? Warlord/Italeri have a very nice Type 97 in plastic  early / late version , I've built one   . Plus they have released  plastic troops . Again very nice , I've built a box . They also have IRC ,  about half a dozen of the more popular vehicles in resin , plus artillery in pewter . And there are also a few other companies  with Japanese vehicle kits .  Plus , Japan is not really the Army most think of when getting a WW2 Axis army , just like the Italians . Although I really would like a plastic Type 95 tank  ::)

And also some other very useful (and wanted) plastic model kits like:
1) General purpose trucks
2) Japanese Anti-Tank guns - there is a limited choice.
3) Type 95 tank Ha-Go - a sorely missing plastic kit for gamers.

How useful would the Type 95 Kurogane - a Japanese type of Jeep - be to most gamers?
How useful would a Japanese armored troop carrier be to most gamers?
Would something like the Type 94 tankette be useuful to gamers?

I have to admit to minimal interest in Japanese kit, I might pick up a Type 97 in plastic if I find one cheap as it is the only tank of equal points to a T-26 in What A Tanker!  ^__^

I guess it depends where you buy it , to get it cheap , but the Italeri kit is very nice .

I think I recall them saying somewhere that there was no IJA tanks planned for 2019
