That's really well done, that red oxide colored stuff is hard to pull off  . Like the chipping and the rain streaks on the side of the turret .

I agree with Ripley.  And you've done your research (the gun barrel being a different colour).  But wouldn't a very late Panther like this have the raised cooling vent?

thanks !!! ive done 3 panthers already with the raised cooling vent. So that the only reason why its not on this model.

I do not know why, but I was never a fan of the red oxide primer. however, it got me thinking. I wonder how many Panzers went into action with only the red oxide primer after leaving the factory. In the case of your panther, not only does it look like it was pressed into action right away, but has survived long enough to get weathering. Nice weathering on your Panther. I like how you gave it the appeance that some parts (the tan colored ones) were added/replaced later, or were reused parts installed at the factory.
