Vichy French AFVs - Rubicon H39

My Vichy French forces for Syria and the Levant are underway. Here's the Rubicon Models (ex-Neucraft) Hotchkiss H39...

An absolutely gorgeous little model. Nothing added, except for the commander - a Perry DAK Marder crewman with legs amputated, a French headswap and a Green Stuff sand scarf...

And here, for the record, the Perry Dodge Tanake armoured truck...





Starting to enjoy the endlessly weird and varied French camo patterns now... :)

Nice work on your Hotchkiss H39 & Dodge Tanake armoured truck.

What are you doing to use for Vichy French infantry?

Perry do quite an extensive line of Vichy infantry including Senegalese Rifles, so I’ll use those.

What a terrific collection of vehicles - especially the armoured truck.  And your painting really brings them to life.  Please show us more as you progress!

 Really lovely job, just the right amount of weathering on the H39 :) The unusual camo patterns used by the French look rather fun to paint (& certainly a change from my usual).
