I like the driver, and I like that we get some ammo boxes for the stowage racks. They always look so empty on other kits. Good idea to include to sets of doors.

AFAIK it looks correct too

Add a gun carriage and that is one wish list item ^__^.

There will be a NEW "Weapon Team" Series which features plastic figures and weaponry for both Allies & Axis in 2016.  Stay tuned!
;)

"Weapon team" -- intriguing  :D

Were they used in Africa or were they too late?
Either way in going to need one for Normandie.

Yup, the BEF version, it is distinctive for that theatre, together with the Vickers' coax, exhaust arrangement and the trench crossing skid.

Oh, and if anyone reads the above, the Tamiya kit is still in its box...

Another survivor were the Syrian Panzer IVs.

For what it's worth, I have a Tamiya Matilda and a Stug IIID also still in their boxes...

Looks good.

Tried to compare with height of the vehicle, but I don't know the height of these guys and the angle isn't the same.

Yep, second that. With you having released the crusader we need kit to put on it since the practice of crews in the desert were to have an escape kit with water and similar on the outside of the tank in case they had to bail out.

Pardon me for an amateur joining the conversation, can an Ausf C survived mid-war and then used by a late war crew wearing late war uniform?

Of course (although you won't see many photos of Ausf Cs by mid-1944, such was the attrition rate with SPWs).  But ideally a kit would provide the most appropriate figures, rather than more unusual combinations.

Units usually handed over vehicles to other units when they withdrew for rest and reinforcements. When returning to combat they were outfitted with new vehicles. So the only time you see an earlier type late in the war is when a training or other behind the line unit with older equipment was thrown into combat, for instance a lot of strange stuff show up in the battle of Berlin.

Nice. Looking forward to getting a Wittman killer  8)

Now, did the Achilles crews have tanker uniforms or regular infantry uniforms?

Please consider including a jerrycan rack, as they seem to have been fairly common (especially on vehicles used in the desert).  It also fills up that space next to the rear door rather nicely.

This.

If you are doing late war crew, the big differences are no pleated pockets, gaiters and peaked caps (if no helmets).

Early war High boots, pleated pockets, gas cape pouch on chest and no peaked caps.

Equipment stayed basically the same throughout the war.

Mid war (1942-1943) could be a mix of the above except that the gas cape was usually not worn on the chest anymore.

I'm also missing the Panzerjäger I with the 47mm: "4.7 cm PaK(t) (Sf) auf Panzerkampfwagen I ohne Turm"

According to Wikipedia 27 vehicles were in action during operation Crusader. They were also used in Barbarossa 1941-1942.

Edit: I now see that it's called "PzJag (SdKfz 101) 47mm 8t TD" in your list, my bad.

Here is a sneak preview of our box art for Q3/15 new releases:

It looks like a german soldier in the turret...  :o

Beware the StuG, all you guys wanting to field lots of them with the DaK: there were four shipped to North Africa and one was dropped in the harbour and sunk while unloading.

So that leaves three, in a wierd special tropical model which didn't see action anywhere else  :-)
