Had the same problem. We're planning to do a 28 mm post-WW3 wargaming project running parallel to the T2K campaign I referee now. The plan is to mix equipment from the late 1940s to the 1990s. Personally, I'm doing forces that fit Eastern European militaries, paramilitaries or civilians from the era. The 'Nam range is super interesting for me, but so would a HMMWV, M48A5, M60s and BTR-152 as well as later-model T-54/55s.

I'd fancy a Cold War era Soviet 100 mm anti-tank gun T-12 with options to build the later variants T-12A and MT-12 "Rapira".

« on: September 18, 2021, 06:11:37 pm »While I am at it, now that the M48 is in process, is there any possibility of an M48A5 being included when the M48A3 comes on the market? The 48A5 was not produced in time for the Vietnam War, but it is still the best and most capable of the M48 series. In fact the tankers I knew who crewed the A5 said it was a better tank that the M60A3 that it was meant to supplement. Except for the main gun and cupola the outside appearance of the A5 is nearly identical to the A3.I can only second interest in the M48A5. It's hard to come by in 28 mm with decent details and true scale.

Hello,
long-time wargamer and roleplayer here. I always enjoyed combining both, though rarely get to do it. But 28 mm is probably my favourite scale, because it enables me to do exactly that. Past projects usually were Word War 2 or Cold War, but I'm open to most (post-)modern war stuff from the Victorian era to contemporary.
