I wonder if the unditching log could be ditched (pun intended) it's rather easy to make one from sprue or just use a twig, and I think it would take up valuable space better used by other stuff.
For the British, backpacks and water flasks were standard in the desert -- if you had to bail out you didn't want your rations and water being inside the tank -- and the practice carried over to Europe by formations that had been in the desert campaign.

Yeah, I'm with Pinky on this one. Leave the artistic license to those building the kits, try to be as accurate as possible -- within certain financial limits of course.

« on: July 27, 2015, 05:07:07 am »Off the record... Yes, many of the Warlord only releases are basically PSC upscaled 1/72 kits. The Universal Carrier is a very good example because of the crews that was included. Don't think Warlord had actually done any refinement to the 3d model before tooling.
They actually added a second Bren Gun on an AA mount. Otherwise it's the exact same kit, it's very obvious if you have built both. It's the same with the new /D hanomag, the crew figures is a dead giveaway.

Some of the Warlord plastic kits -- those NOT designed by Italeri -- are very similar to the PSC 1/72 kits, and looks like they are simply upscaled, with the corresponding loss of detail. Their Hanomags are all upscaled PSC kits.

I was thinking of just the squares... I know it's a space issue... but since you included the squadron markings. Seems like you only include half what would be necessary, but a lot of surplus double stuff.
Seems like most UK and commonwealth division used the same structure... 50 was the armoured brigade HQ, 51-54 was the different batallions.

Since you include the british squad markings and weight discs, it would be useful to also have the regimental markings... you know, the red squares with 50, 51, 52, 53 and 54 on (for armoured divisions). I realise this will be a generic sheet, but seems like they would be necessary. Perhaps delete a few of the weight discs to make room?
