General Discussions / Re: Where to Buy Rubicon Kits in Canada?

I’d send abroad for you tracks, but it’s a fortune. Not worth you doing it.

Plus if they go missing I’d lose out on kits and postage, and to insure is even more!

17-18 tanks per company. Around 5000pts on bolt action.

I played one company of shermans on a 6x12 table

Currently I have two full companies of M4 Shermans and one full company of a M24 Chaffee.

One more company of shermans to go.

I whisper sweet temptations in to his ear. It’s why there’s a T95 at 1:56 scale out there and a Bob Semple tank in the works.

Not sure what his latest is for though.

Usually game with them. Or make plans of a US armoured battalion in 1:56 scale. Almost there. Just need a plastic M24 Chaffee as j really can’t be bothered with the 15x resin ones I have.

They rarely comment on wish lists. Unless it’s to say something like “Elias, we’ve already said we won’t be releasing an M4A375(W) kit. Please stop asking”.

On the actual tanks? Both 69”, but Edwin said on Facebook that the kits turret ring was different. Was a while ago so maybe that’s changed?

I’ve already asked (for the same reason), the turret ring is a different size. Easy conversion though.

They have said the M3 medium is on their radar once the M4A1 medium is completed.

My preference would have also been all plastic, but a hybrid or fully resin kit will come to market sooner.

And they of course could make it in plastic later on...

I would prefer an all plastic model for the Halftrack as an upgrade set like the M21,
and do the mixed media stuff with the late trailer as most of us wargames/modelers
of WW2 will have no use for the trailer.

I hate the smell of resin in the morning:(

Have you ever used Rubicon resin before?

WLG has metal barrels, all of mine are now broken, bent, etc.

Brass or turned barrels would be better.
