Another training project?
Looking good.
I think some players would like these for decorating their game table... and not just WW2 players. With possibly the exception of the suitcase, this farm and market set should be suitable for other historical periods.

Nice idea.  Why do the produce trays have such massive side pieces?  Wouldn't they just be simple open wooden trays?

I'd like more crates and suitcases and less produce.

From references, the wider sideboards were "leg rest" when stacking the trays together.  These trays were usually for vegetables and they need air to flow in-between.

Does the milk churn have a separate handle?

Useful for my M4A3E4.

Nice.

Are the trays one piece (with fruit/veg/fish in-situ)?

Can you post a picture with one of your standing figures  ? Like to get an idea of the size of some of the pieces . Those full boxes of veggies look like they might be more than one man / woman could carry / lift

They look like stacks of trays. I have some modern equivalent somewhere. I think they are about two foot six or so in length (an arms width).

The fishy ones , then yes , single trays . The veggies have a board covering part of each end  which isn't seen in the lower levels ( for stacking ? ), hence I believe it to be one large box . I figure it would be a one person push cart , so what ever is on there should be movable by one person ( man , women or teenager ) . I've seen a few 30s & 40s movies with market stall scenes and the product isn't in boxes that big . Not historical fact but common sence the boxes should be easy to shift by one person  IMO

Looks to be a wonderful set with a variety of uses as scenery, an objective or adding to vehicles of food "liberated" from the locals.
Very unique.

If you do some digging, this is what 1930’s era fruit and vegetable crates looked like:

You can see how they’re designed to stack.  I didn’t find any photos of ones Rubicon has done.  To me, they look too modern.  Also, I noticed that the produce often seemed to be displayed loose or in woven baskets.

@Pinky, the crates you showed are of UK origins, which is quite different from mainland Europe of the time.

Here are some photos took in Paris by a German photographer after the occupation for your references.
