« on: November 24, 2017, 03:03:44 pm »
Introducing our first two products from our NEW scenic range! A Log Fence set and a Picket Fence set.

Each fence is 105mm (~4.23 inches) wide, and each gate is 30mm (~1.18 inches) wide. You can create either a single gate or double gate entrance of your choices. Each fence also comes with an optional scenic base too!  Will post more info and product images later!

Enjoy!
 ;)

They look good . But ... there are lots of fence kits available in plastic / resin / laser cut HDF  in 1/56 - 28mm from large model / gaming companies to small after market one man operations , what do these offer the other stuff dosen't ? Not trying to be a jerk here  :-[ , but what makes your kit stand out in the crowd ?

Are these based on photos?  I've never seen a log fence like that - is it Eastern European?  The other fence is a picket fence, not a "plank" fence.

That's true, but not for the price and quality we are aiming at...  ;)

The log fence prototype was featured in some of our earlier releases, but no one noticed!

Enjoy!

We got that mixed up with the America/British terms of the fence.  Have changed to "picket" now, thanks!

I'm with ripley on this. You may do a good job on this range but we can get these things from other people. It is your expertise and enthusiasm for the vehicles that interests me and I am concerned this diversion will have us waiting longer for the good stuff.

The new scenery range is being handled by another studio team away from the vehicle design team.  It is always the mould making that is delaying our releases; you can only make so many mould parts a day.  It is intensive mechanical work by skilled craftsmen at the factory.

I guess the picket fence could be useful.  The log fence is very basic.  How about something a bit more interesting, like this Russian fence:

I need to agree with ripley on this one. Also why dont you make some city fances like this https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51d2UdpBFkL._SL1001_.jpg or brick walls .. ?

I’m sure most things will be covered eventually

Just like our vehicle series, we will eventually cover most items with our scenery range... starting with the most common ones first!  ;)

The Sprue...

Each kit will contain 4 identical sprues:

- Each fence is 105mm (4.13 inches) long
- A single gate is 30mm (1.18 inches) wide
- Can be assembled as single or double gate
- Gate can swing open or closed
- Comes with optional scenic base
- A total of 180cm (almost 6 feet) from every single kit!

You also have extra items, such as road signs and unditching log (beam) on the sprue too!

Something for size comparison...

Enjoy!

Is anyone else going to mention the British infantry?

Sprues look great though.
