Soviet Stowage

(1/1)

ultravanillasmurf:
There must be a lot of Soviet specific stowage.

Besides various ammunition boxes, rocket boxes would be good for stowing on the rear mudguards of the Studebaker (there are photographs of them in the Tankograd Studebaker book).

Bedframe spaced armour might be useful. Both sprues could be used to equip one tank.

Replacement fuel drums (based on the improved ones from the tank destroyer kit).

Skis?

Snow shoes?

Pinky:
Also:
- unditching logs
- 76mm and 85mm ammo crates
- tools - especially the distinctive 2-handed saw
- spare T-34 transmission (seen on early T-34s)
- large bags (Soviet tanks often had generic bags slung on the sides)
- spare track links
- a bucket (of course!)
- looted jerrycans
- maybe some bits for modifying T-34s into captured German tanks, such as a cupola?

ultravanillasmurf:
Not specifically stowage but replacements for existing items:

Carriers for the fuel and smoke drums (where the drums are not present)
