On the bases, if you use 25mm round bases, the Warlord lipped bases mean you do not need to remove the Perry integral bases.

I understand your disappointment, but the majority of builders will be constructing this for WW2, the post war options are a bonus. Hopefully their research on the Centurion project will lead to a set of decals for post war Comets as well.
