I finally finished my second Tiger II ( sans full crew ) . Although you get the knight  decals for the Pz.Abt. 505 , the turret sides have full zim . You have to remove a square in the zim as this unit's marking were on the turret side plate .  Dosn't really help with keeping magnetic mines off the turret sides , but it looks very cool . You also have to find yourself a set of turret numbers in 3 different sizes , Large ones on the turret rear , middle size ones on the gun close to the turret and smaller ones on the barrel . Unfortunetly , I couldn't find all three sizes of the same   black number with a  white outline , so I used all white numbers .And its a real mish mash of numbers using decals from  Rubicon  , Warlord  & Tamiya .

Wasn't really interested in the North African theater , but thinking now of a Kubel / Rommel's 250 Grief and a early Tiger diorama might be in my future . Really love those sand tires

While the  track on the casement rear are put on upside down ( didn't notice it , should of , I did it myself once  ) , I assumed the track on the sides are welded on as permanent extra armor

Wow , a blast from the past  Are you going to add the stowage rails to hold that stuff on ? A full45 gallon drum weights about 200 plus pounds , so ropes won't hold it . And check the size ( in scale ) of that crate , looks too big for an ammo box,. I cut mine in half . . And are you going to add the engine crank ( a little scratch building needed ) usually found on the rear hull plate ?  And last but not least , what color and brand of paint did you use ? I like it

Is it the paint job or the lighting  , but the turret details ( side doors / vision ports ) on the G/ H aren't as crisp as the ones on the D/E ? Aside from that , awesome looking

I wonder if the blue tinge was on account of  small discrepancies in the manufacture of said paint , and which ( I assume more than one ) company made it .  US OD had about 5 variations depending on which factory made it and what ingredient was cut back on or replaced altogether due to shortages . I think the German paint supply would be affected to a greatr degree as the war went on e

Both the Opel Blitz truck and the 251 D half track have WL license plates on the decal sheets . The single decal sheets are just Panzer Divisions and tank turret number sets . I have a half track decal set I don't need , so PM me and I'll mail it to you

My Tigers are coming along slowly . I haven't decided on cammo and marking for the 3rd Tiger  , and I still need crew . I wonder when Rubicon's plastic German crew will be released ?
