There had been some talks about Rubicon Models doing infantry box sets.
We have no intention whatsoever to release any box sets. However, we WILL
do figures of special interests... like these Soviet tank riders!

These figures are still a work in progress (we are already making some
changes now), we will continue to refine them until we are happy with them.
Suggestions and comments are welcome!

Enjoy!

Is this a standard template Monty?
Great likeness - very nice.  How many generals are you planning to do?

For characters, there are no templates, all one-off!  ;)

Not sure how many generals or characters we will do.  These are training
exercises for new staff to get accustomed to our workflow and work style.
We have very high expectations and must meet our working standards!

Work continued to be extremely busy with much fewer forum updates
than we anticipated. Here are a few pictures of the painted Montgomery
3D prototype by our in-house painter, Kent Lee.

Enjoy!

Good guesses guys!  This is indeed a Sherman Ic which can also be a standard M4...
We are still working on the details and need to change some of the layout, but the
general parts are there!

This is definitely a WIP drawing, and we are still working on this project slowly when
we have spare time.

The IDF had a re-engine programme to standardise their mixed Sherman fleet, could it be an M4A3 with an M4/M4A1 type radial engine?

We are still focused on WW2, no post-war Shermans!

Found a picture on the Sherman Minutia site , its a  M4A4T.  That's a 1950s re engined French M4A4 . Hopefully Rubicon is just pulling our legs  :-\

Hint: You will not find a match on the Sherman Minutia site...  ;)

German Military traffic cops !  Didn't they call them Chain Dogs  because of the metal badge hanging around their necks ?

Indeed, they were called "Kettenhunde"...

Slowly progressing with our Sherman digital library project... Here's an update!

Some details had not been added or updated, but the basic shape and features
are there.  Any ideas what is this variant?

Enjoy!

Will you do the traffic directing figure in plastic?

Probably not, the details on this particular figure is too complex to be modified
for plastic production.

I think these might be your best figures yet, at least in terms of how they look as actual models.

This is because these are NOT intended for plastic production... ;)
