I like the Commisar figure  with the bottle . He would work in a Berlin 45 diorama meeting up with US troops , pass the vodka Comrade . Actually, all variations would work depending on the stituation ( game ,  static model , or diorama ) Nice one Rubicon

If you fit the gun guard in  , you can jam a no leg figure in there , the no leg part won't be seen  ;D. There is very little room in that turret in real life ,that gun divides it in half , I think the crew had to squirm out side ways as there is no room between hatch rim and gun guard for the width of  your waist/ shoulders . How the commander was able to hang half out of the turret and still look around the side of that hatch to view the ground ahead , I don't know

The Shermans look good and the guns & crews look fantastic . Nice to see a variety of  different poses and number of personal   in each crew . Some companies use the same gun crew figures for each and every gun they make weather they work with it or not , 1/35 Italeri ( old ESCI )

Adding the interior is pretty simple , mostly just the shell guard and a couple of jump seats

1/35 scale Dragon

Left is the  Warlord T-34  turret . Right is the  Rubicon turret . The 39/40/41 flat turrets each had a different way to store   machine gun ammo drums in the rear of the turret , but its not really noticable in this scale  , so I didn't add it

For early war I'll need one of each . Supposed to have been a couple in Berlin 45 ( training school  ? ) wonder if they got 3 color camo ?

I found a couple of ideas . IRC the Puma turret was originally designed for the late Panzer II L/M

That's cool but only available in resin

Now this is possible ,using the extra driver's vision port from my Stug III kit , Warlord has it in plastic and I can use the 38(t) turret on an Atlantic Wall pillbox

Looks very nice . Good to see you remembered to add the spare barrel boxes ( engine deck sides ) and remove the small turret motor  muffler ( not needed as these thing turned by hand ! ) , the Warlord crew just put their resin turret on a standard tank hull  ::)

Yea it was a PIA to get all that under carriage stuff to fit right . I added discs to the wheel backs to fix that problem , all thought they should have been full wheels to start with . I'm going to give it a go eventually , Ive got the add on kit on order , 1 to be used on a 250 neu . Going to built a 234/1 as well as I have the 20mm turrets coming too . Just waiting for a sale on plastic 234/2s  ::) . Now what to do with extra Puma turret kits ?

Who's going take the next step and use the 250/8 , 251/9 add on kit to make a 234/3 ?

Welcome . Its a pretty good bunch of folks  on here , and Rubicon , unlike some companies , like to have feedback on their ideas and projects  . Post some of your work in the  showcase thread , always nice to see what folks are working on

That's looking good . Where did you pick up that jig ? ( Found some on a Model RR site , is it 4mm or 7mm ?) That looks like it would work for all sorts of scales .  Surprised Rubicon hasn't included a jig on the T-34 sprues like they did for the Crusader light guards , except for the fact the Crusader kit came out after the T-34s  ::)

IRC the tanks that landed in Sicily/Italy had an early version , as well the Marines had their own style , some  using 45 gallon steel drums  . I think its going to get complicated to satisfy everybody . You guys at Rubicon are really shaking things up by producing add on detail kits for your vehicles , a lot of larger scale modellers ( 1/35 ) I know , wish some of the kits they build had such options available

IRC the 10 is a 250 frame lengthened with an extra road wheel ( 6 instead of 5 ) so all the kit track / wheel sets won't work . So I guess there's not much to reuse , but at least Rubicon has the wheel design in CAD somewhere , so that should save them some time  , unless , like every other German half track , the stamped wheel pattern was unique to the 250 and not reused on other models  ::)

Its all ways difficult to  get together with people who's craft / hobby " job " is not their full time job . A lot of guys just shut down their production and their fantastic kits are gone forever , except for crazy dollars on ebay . Thank you for picking the Neucraft kits you did and we appreciate the effort your making to try and secure more
