Wish Lists / Re: Your next British tank... which one?

The A30 Challenger has a stretched Cromwell hull (with an extra roadwheel).

Ah well then, the Challenger would be my first preference to fill the market gap.

As for Valentine variants, a Bridge Layer with a deployable bridge would be a most excellent addition!

The British tank I would most like however would be one with a combo turret option if possible of a Cromwell/Challenger.  A troop of 4 (3 Cromwell + 1 Challenger) would be perfect for the 1st Polish Armoured Division.

Oooh, and that will be a sweet objective marker too!

I missed getting a Neucraft one and the Canadians need them for the Low Countries.

I believe we have some telephone poles, etc. coming soon.

Yes, I would definitely like other scenic details in scale plastic rather than chunky resin, metal, or mdf.

Cases of wine bottles — the ultimate WW2 objective markers!

Thanks for the follow up on LVT usage!

I did come across a pdf on SeaBee ops and that mentioned 'extensive use' of LCMs.  So at the very least those will be good for general use.  And an LCM (3) is coming!

That's a very helpful list, thanks!

Have you come across any reference to LVTs being used on the Treasury Islands 27 Oct – 12 Nov 43, the prelude to Bougainville?  Presumably just the LVT-1 if any.

When I get around to building Seabees, that battle will be high on the scenario list.

Considering that the crew figures are posed for active loading, I think having the model partially loaded would work best.

If it was fully loaded, the crew wouldn't be humping heavy rockets around like they are.

If the weapon is mostly loaded, it's ready to fire imminently in the game!

I think the loaded barrels look off.  The rocket doesn't sit up in the front end of the tube.  The rockets are much shorter than the tube.  And the back end of the rockets sticks out the back end of the tubes when loaded.

A quick google search for loaded Nebelwerfer turned up this page:

Not molded on, but the photo-etch idea sounds very promising!

It is on the JPz 38(t) work in progress, see link.

Yes, just not mentioned yet in the Production Schedule thread where I try to keep track of what all is going on.  So I hope it is indeed in one of the levels of 'Unannounced Projects' that is moving forwards towards an actual release.  It's very squirrelly trying to find info around here since I don't constantly read the forums nor remember posts from prior years.

In any event, I will very happily buy one whenever it is available!

One of these?
Aufklärungspanzer 38(t) 2cm KwK 38 - a new expansion project for one of our best kits!

The marriage of two existing kits:
(1) 280030 Jadgpanther 38(t)
(2) 280048 SdKfz 250/251 Expansion Kit - SdKfz 250/9 & 251/23
...with a new Bergepanzerwagen 38 chassis!

Why yes, one of those.  Don't recall seeing it anywhere in the Production Schedule listing, hope it's one of the Un-announceds!

Will they ever get to Italian or Polish vehicles? Probably not. I will simply keep with my resin.  Will they ever get to plastic French? Probably not.  If I ever start collecting French (1940) it will likely be resin (I think Warlord have one plastic kit for early French).  I can deal with that.

You didn't mention Mad Bob Miniatures, if you haven't come across them yet, they do very nice resin French in spades!  Well, provide your own spade decals... ^,^

The new T-26 almost has me tempted to do Russian, but I'm really holding out for Western Front and/or North Africa.  Vickers Mk VI variants would supply the early Commonwealth in cute light tanks!

Pz.II has some exciting variations:

15cm sIG Bison, not many built, but I would grab one for North Africa.  With Warlord's upcoming new releases, there should be growing interest in this theater.

Wespe, very popular.
