Rubicon Models resin WW2 Renault R35 light tank.

Another very beautiful and crisp little model. So much detail on it that I couldn't bring myself to add any stowage which would obscure it!

I think you forgot to paint the rubber on the road wheels . Here's a close up  picture of the wheels on the R 35  at Saumur

Thanks Ripley. Alas, I didn’t forget - I did look at lots of pictures before I started painting and clocked the black tyres. Unfortunately it would have been pretty well impossible to get the paintbrush in there onto the tiny and fairly inaccessible little bits of the tyres showing - except for the spare on the back, and it made no sense to paint that, when I couldn’t do the in situ wheels. Luckily no one I ever play wargames with is enough of an AFV aficionado to know (or care) that this particular AFV didn’t have solid steel wheels  :)

The advantage of being a wargamer rather than a scale modeller  ;)

Chicken..!  I painted the wheels on my R35 in 1/72 scale ;-)   Looks great. I might have to get one.

Maybe just give them a blackwash , it should flow easily off the tip of the brush to cover the rubber parts . I think it would give the wheels a dusty rubber look ( the base color should show through )  , which should suit your theatre of operations . If in doubt of the result , try it on the under side  of your tank first as a test . You do paint the under side  , don't you ? I always try washes and effects paints on the belly of my tanks before taking the plunge

A number of museum exhibits have paint on their tyres. In the Tankograd Leopard 2A7 book, one of the examples shown has painted tyres.

Of course the paint would not last on the tread area.

Ripley's idea of the black wash would work.

I wonder if the turret ring will fit the turrets from the T-26 kit
