Salute 2017 - ExCeL London - April 22
« on: April 16, 2017, 12:34:08 am »
Rubicon Models will be at Salute (Apr 22) at ExCeL London.

WarHQ is kind enough to share part of their booth (TL11) with us.
We will be showcasing the latest prototypes and our most recent
releases. Come and say hello!

Unfortunately I missed you, and the locusts had descended upon the PSC stand so I only managed to pick up an M4A3E8 kit.

I hope it went well.

Roll on the BMW and sidecar combinations. They looked wonderful. Can't wait  8)

I see that Warlord's plastic Tiger 2 made an appearance at Salute (photo from Beasts of War site).  They also had plastic British paratroops and (in prototype form) Waffen SS.  No sign of any other plastic vehicles.

When I was chatting about forthcoming plastics with the guy at the desk he did not mention anything else due soon.

All their Sealowe stuff seems to be resin or metal

You would think BEF British would be an obvious plastic set.

Not enough people want them to justify the plastic moulds.

The tiger II didn't look that good.

They have redone the British jeep and increased the size of it. When I questioned why they said another company was bringing one out and they realised the scale was wrong on theirs.

The crew figure on the Tiger II  looks more 48 scale to me than 1/56 and they still didn't remove all the flash and sprue bits from the model . Not the best way to present a new model to the public IMO
